Sahara Hotnights returned with the single “Always Like This” (Nov 14) from the upcoming album “No One Ever Really Changes” (Feb 13), followed by a sold‑out tour in 2026. The band, who were also inducted into the Swedish Music Hall of Fame in 2025, say this about the single “Always Like This”

“It’s about how self-doubt comes poking at your dreams, about the feeling of getting stuck between fear and change”, the band says. “I wrote it at home in bed one late-winter morning on a beat-up nylon-string guitar, and it blossomed when the whole band got together in the rehearsal space — it was allowed to make noise and show off”, says Maria Andersson

When Sahara Hotnights released “Love In Times of Low Expectations” in 2022, it was their first album in eleven years. Since forming in Robertsfors in 1992, the quartet has consisted of Maria Andersson (vocals, guitar), Jennie Asplund (guitar), Johanna Asplund (bass), and Josephine Forsman (drums).

Critical acclaim, gold and platinum records, and major tours both at home and internationally have marked their journey from their EP debut in 1997 onward.
